Mars Europe and 4flow win Supply Chain Excellence Awards 2023

As part of the Supply Chain Excellence Awards 2023 in London, UK, Mars Europe and 4flow were presented two prestigious awards: Food & Drink Supply Chain Excellence Award and the Supply Chain Strategy and Design Award. The award recognizes organizations around the world that demonstrate excellence in their supply chain operations.

To significantly improve performance of its intermodal European transportation network, Mars, a global market leader in the food, confectionery and pet care industries partnered with 4flow to implement a continuous approach to integrated transportation planning, optimization and execution.

As collaboration partners, Mars Europe and 4flow transformed the Mars approach to transportation management from a decentralized to a centralized approach harmonizing processes, IT and the organization. The newly created TMOS – Transport Mars Operating System – represents an innovative continuous approach to integrated transportation planning, optimization and execution.
